What I Learned From WordPress…

This last module has been learning about how to present yourself as a professional in whatever art and design field you are going into. As a practicing artist and someone who would like to be considered on a professional artistic level someday, I found this exercise quite helpful in compiling my work in a digital portfolio. Perhaps this was even more helpful than compiling it on InDesign as I can send people my work now with a quite link instead of a  clumsy PDF that takes quite some time to load. We live in a time when people want things fast, and a website is the best way to share yourself with the art world that is out there. Taking advantage of social networking, and also taking consideration in presenting yourself in the way you want to be presented is the power we are given in this day and age.
